Honestly, of all the issues that we have going on in the State, blowing $4 Billion dollars is the only thing the legislature can focus on... thank goodness, they only have 90 days to work through all the pressing issues. Just wait until they take away the FRANK Initiative, the road block that... for some reason... just keeps getting in the way. If successful, then they will probably find a whole lot more time to legislate... forget the 90 days, in our new location, we can now meet year round... but unfortunately, they will have blown all the reserves and then some, so we will not be able to afford them year round. Perhaps they will only be able to afford meeting every 3 years in their new location. Oh, well.
The thing that I find most impressive about all this, is that since they could never get the support of the Alaskan people to spend the money on a move - thanks to the FRANK Initiative keeping the people in the loop - they have the gall of removing the people from the process. Obviously, in their opinion, our fiscal decisions are in error.
So, how should we spend it! Thanks, and tell it like it is!
